Stressed By Day to Day Life?

Pressured to perform? Pressured to feel happy? Pressured to look perfect?

I know! Those pressures can really weigh you down.

But what if stress was just another 21st century idiocracy?

If stress was just a concept that is soft, and changes shapes as different people experience the continuum of life? It would be Resilience that we are lacking, right?

Lets unpick this in a few simple steps:

Step 1 Understand stress as life events that happen all the time, everywhere, to anyone.

Step 2 Understand resilience as your personal shield of protection against stress.

Step 3 Build your resilience instead of pressuring yourself trying to ‘Keep up with the Kardashian’s’.


Sod social media. Avoid those sickening posts of bored housewives uhmming and ahhing how fabulous her hubbies are and how the new kitchen cost a fortune. Read a brilliant book instead!!!

Think logical. What is the worst that can happen if you make a mistake? Mostly problems come with solution and the ‘nightmare’  is  ‘ in your head’!

Be proud. I really f***ed up this time. So what! Take chances. Make mistakes. That’s how we grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave (Mary Taylor Moore).

Learn. Seems obvious but try and don’t make the same mistake over and over again. A little dwell precedes reflection and true learning.

And daren’t I suggest that your confident, resilient you will feel and look more beautiful : )
